The Sports Marketing Award: podium places for fan activation, social media and sustainability
The top three projects selected by the expert jury for the 2012 Sports Marketing Award reflect developments within the industry: fan activation, social media and sustainability are buzz words describing both the current marketing trends and the marketing campaigns submitted. From the original 25 applications, three have now successfully secured their place on the podium. The candidates put on a more than exciting race, with just a few points separating the winning projects and their immediate rivals in the jury’s evaluation.
The top three marketing campaigns are:
- Goldene Generation/Signal Iduna: Meisteraktion BVB
- Imtech Deutschland: Imtech Arena – Naming rights and unique reference
- Juniper Group/MAN: Fußballbundesliga fährt MAN
The overall winner remains a secret, and will be announced and honoured on the Main Stage at the SpoBiS on February 13.
